[REVIEW] SNP Prep Vitaronic Series, Unique Combination of Vitamin C and Triple Hyaluronic Acid (English & Bahasa Indonesia)

Kulit kering tuh sebenernya nggak sekedar butuh pelembap atau moisturizer doang, tapi juga butuh antioksidan. Kenapa? Karena kalau dibandingkan dengan jenis kulit lainnya misalnya kulit berminyak atau normal, kulit kering tuh cenderung lebih tipis dan lebih mudah muncul tanda-tanda penuaan dini seperti kerutan dan garis halus.

Nah, sel-sel yang rusak inilah yang menyebabkan proses penuaan pada kulit.

Dry skin needs more than a moisturizer, it also needs antioxidants. Why? Because when compared to other skin types such as oily or normal skin, dry skin tends to be thinner and is easier to show signs of premature aging such as wrinkles and fine lines.

Hence, to prevent the signs of premature aging, dry skin needs antioxidants. According to WebMD, antioxidants can prevent free radicals that damage cells in the body and skin. These free radicals are actually the result of natural bodily processes, but they can also be caused by exposure to environmental factors such as smoking or ultraviolet rays. These damaged cells cause the aging process in the skin.

Menurut American Academy of Dermatology, ada tiga jenis antioksidan yang terbukti mengurangi efek matahari pada kulit dan mencegah kerusakan sel, yaitu Selenium, Vitamin E, dan Vitamin C.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, there are three types of antioxidants that have been shown to reduce the sun's effects on the skin and prevent cell damage, such as Selenium, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C.

Jadi aku baru cobain satu rangkaian SNP Prep Vitaronic yang punya key ingredients vitamin C dan tiga jenis Hyaluronic Acid. Sebelumnya aku sudah pernah review produk Gel Cream-nya di blog, dan sekarang semua produknya sudah resmi available di Indonesia, lho.

So I just tried SNP Prep Vitaronic series that has vitamin C and three types of Hyaluronic Acid as their key ingredients. I've previously reviewed the Gel Cream product on the blog, and now all of the products are officially available in Indonesia.

Yuk, daripada penasaran, langsung aja intip review dan hasil pemakaian dari SNP Prep Vitaronic ini selama 14 hari di kulit aku.

Apart from Gel Cream, there are 3 other products from this Vitaronic Prep series. There are Vitaronic Toner Pad, Vitaronic SOS Ampoule, and Vitaronic Ampoule Mask. In my opinion, these products are really interesting, toner pads like these are still rare and actually very practical for daily skincare routines. The ampoule comes in a single-use package, and many of my beauty enthusiast friends tells me that the masks are very good.

Without further ado, let's just take a peek at the review and the results of using Vitaronic SNP Prep for 14 days on my skin.

Review SNP Prep Vitaronic

Packaging

Seri SNP Prep Vitaronic ini memiliki color image perpaduan putih dan aksen kuning agak orange. Warna kuningnya ini jelas banget melambangkan salah satu dari key ingredientsnya yaitu Vitamin C. 

SNP Prep Vitaronic series has a color image of a combination of white and yellow accents. The yellow color clearly represents one of the key ingredients, Vitamin C.

Karena ini ada beberapa item, jadi aku bahas satu-satu ya. Pertama ada SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad. Berbeda dengan toner konvensional biasa yang berupa cairan di botol, toner dari SNP ini sudah ada cotton padnya. Totalnya ada 60 pads dan bisa dipakai selama sebulan penuh untuk day & night skincare routine.

The pads are soaked with toner, jadi kamu tinggal ambil aja terus usap. Nggak perlu tuang-tuang ribet lagi. Praktis banget! Oh iya, menurut aku ini kemasannya agak bulky dan nggak travel friendly. Kalau mau dibawa pergi-pergi bisa aja sih padsnya didepot ke tempat lain.

Because there are several items, so I will discuss one by one. First there is the SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad. Unlike other conventional toners that is liquid and comes in a bottle, this SNP toner has a cotton pad included inside. There are 60 pads in total and can be used for a whole month for your day & night skincare routine.

The pads are soaked with toner, so you just have to take it and wipe it on your face. Very practical! Oh yeah, in my opinion, the packaging is a bit bulky and not travel friendly. If you want to travel and bring some with you, you can just redeposit them into another container.

Kedua ada SNP Prep Vitaronic SOS Ampoule yang isinya 7 ampul serum. Karena dikemas satu-satu gini jadi higienis banget. Cara pakainya kalian bisa patahin dulu ujung ampoulenya. Nggak perlu khawatir, sebenernya si ampulnya ini tuh materialnya semacam plastik tipis jadi nggak perlu effort lebih buat matahin ujungnya. Meskipun begitu, ampulnya cukup kokoh dan jangan khawatir bakal pecah kalau kita taruh ampulnya di dalam pouch.

Second, there is SNP Prep Vitaronic SOS Ampoule which contains 7 ampoules of serum. Because they are packaged one by one, it's really hygienic. To use it, you break the ampoule's top first. You don't need to worry, the ampoule is actually made of thin plastic material, so you don't need to put a lot of effort to break the edges. Even so, the ampoule is quite sturdy and it won't break even if we put the ampoule in our cosmetic pouch.

Next ada SNP Prep Vitaronic Gel Cream. Ini sudah pernah aku review secara in depth, ya. Jadi bisa cek blogpost aku kalau kalian penasaran banget. Packaging gel creamnya ini berbentuk tube dengan ujung yang cukup ramping.

Terakhir SNP Prep Vitaronic Ampoule Mask. At the first glance, packagingnya kurang lebih sama lah dengan sheet mask sekali pakai pada umumnya. Nothing special or extraordinary.

Toner pad dari SNP ini mengandung vitamin C dari buah jeruk. Berdasarkan Skincarisma Ingredient Analyzer, produk ini bisa digunakan baik untuk kulit berminyak dan juga kulit kering. Namun pemilik kulit sensitif diharap berhati-hati karena mengandung esktrak lemon yang acidic dan berpotensi menyebabkan iritasi jika tidak cocok.

Kandungan vitamin C dan 3 lapis Hyaluronic Acid dari SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad ini diklaim dapat mencerahkan kulit sekaligus melembapkannya. Formulanya dapat memudarkan noda pada kulit dan mudah menyerap hingga lapisan kulit terdalam. Oh iya, karena ada pads dengan teksturnya, produk ini juga dapat mengangkat sel kulit mati.

This toner pad contains Vitamin C from citrus fruits. Based on the Skincarisma Ingredient Analyzer, this product can be used for both oily and dry skin. However, people with sensitive skin should be careful as it contains lemon extract which is acidic and has the potential to cause irritation if it is not suitable for your skin.

Vitamin C and 3 layers of Hyaluronic Acid from SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad claims to brighten the skin as well as moisturize it. The formula can fade blemishes and absorbs easily into the deepest layers of the skin. Oh yeah, because the cotton pads is textured, this product can also remove dead skin cells.

Sheet mask ini aman digunakan setiap hari. Essencenya kaya vitamin C dari Green Trifoliate Orange sebagai sumbernya. Hampir sama dengan produk-produk lainnya, SNP Prep Vitaronic Ampoule Mask ini mengandung anti aging dan brightening properties.

This sheet mask is safe to use every day. The essence is rich in vitamin C from Green Trifoliate Orange as the source. Almost the same as other products, this SNP Prep Vitaronic Ampoule Mask contains anti aging and brightening properties.

Texture & Fragrance

Aku coba bahas satu-satu ya teksturnya. Untuk SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad, tekstur dari tonernya sendiri cair, watery banget dan nggak berwarna. Sedangkan cotton padnya ada teskturnya di salah satu sisinya. Nah, sisi yang ini digunakan untuk pengaplikasian dan bisa sekaligus berfungsi untuk mengangkat sel kulit mati dan kotoran.

Let's discuss the texture one by one. For SNP Prep Vitaronic Toner Pad, the texture of the toner itself is liquid, very watery and colorless. The cotton pad is textured on one side. The textured side is used for application and can simultaneously remove dead skin cells and dirt on the skin's surface.

SNP Prep Vitaronic SOS Ampoule ini cukup unik, meski termasuk dalam kategori serum, teksturnya bukan yang rich dan thick gitu, tapi cenderung encer. Warnanya sendiri agak kekuningan. Satu ampul ini buat ukuran muka aku yang agak kecil malah cukup banyak isinya, bisa sampe ke leher-leher dan ke tangan juga sisanya.

SNP Prep Vitaronic SOS Ampoule is quite unique, although it is included in the serum category, the texture is not rich and thick, but tends to be runny. The color itself is slightly yellowish. One ampul is enough for the size of my face, which is rather small. In fact it's quite a lot, it could be used for the necks and the rest of the hands as well.

Untuk SNP Prep Vitaronic Ampoule Mask, pertama saat kita keluarkan dari bungkusnya, ketika dipegang lembaran sheet masknya terasa seperti jelly. Kalau diperhatikan, lembarannya cukup tipis dan bisa menempel dengan baik di kulit. Dipakai sambil aktivitas pun sheet masknya nggak melorot lho. Karena nempel banget di kulit, proses penyerapan essencenya juga bisa lebih efektif.

For SNP Prep Vitaronic Ampoule Mask, when we take it out of the package and hold the sheet mask, it feels like jelly. If you pay attention, the sheets are quite thin and adheres well to the skin. Even if you use it while you are doing other activities, the sheet mask doesn't come off easily. Because it's attached well to the skin, the essence is absorbed into the skin much more effectively.

Ketiga produk dari SNP Prep Vitaronic ini punya wangi khas yaitu wangi dengan notes fruity, acidic, and slightly sweet. Mengingatkan aku dengan wangi permen jeruk. Sebenarnya wanginya nggak terlalu kuat, tapi agak strong juga khususnya untuk aku yang memang punya hidung sensitif dengan wangi-wangian. Meskipun begitu wanginya cukup enak dan nggak bikin pusing, kok.

The three products from SNP Prep Vitaronic all have a distinctive fragrance: fruity, acidic, and slightly sweet notes. It reminds me of the smell of orange candy. The fragrance is not too strong, but it's very noticeable. Especially for me who has a sensitive nose with fragrances. Even so, it smells good enough and doesn't make you dizzy.

Verdict

Kalian bisa lihat dari foto di atas, kondisi kulit aku sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan rangkaian SNP Prep Vitaronic ini selama 14 hari. Menurut aku yang memang kulitnya lagi kering banget + sensitif ini efek melembapkannya agak kurang buat aku kalau cuma pakai toner pad + ampoule + cream. Tapi kalau ditambah pakai sheet masknya lagi, efek lembabnya sudah cukup baik. 

Kalau untuk kulit yang oily atau normal, kayaknya sih melembapkannya cukup. Tapi kalau untuk kulit yang extra dry mungkin harus dibantu lagi dengan hydrating toner yang lebih thick & face oil sebagai occlusive.

Tapi salah satu perubahan yang aku notice banget adalah kulit aku terasa lebih segar dan kelihatan lebih cerah juga karena nggak kusam. Klaim dari rangkaian produk SNP Prep Vitaronic ini untuk memberikan 'energi' ekstra pada kulit memang terbukti kelihatan hasilnya.

You can see my skin condition before and after using SNP Prep Vitaronic for 14 days from the photo above. My skin is really dry + sensitive, but the moisturizing effect is not enough if I only use the toner pad + ampoule + cream. If I also use the sheet mask, the moisturizing effect is fairly good.

For oily or normal skin, I think it is moisturizing enough. But for extra dry skin, you may need help from a thicker hydrating toner & face oil.

But one of the changes I really notice is that my skin feels fresher and looks brighter because it's not dull. SNP Prep Vitaronic claim that it provides extra 'energy' to the skin has proven to be evident.

Overall, rangkaian SNP Prep Vitaronic ini cukup unik. Masing-masing produk punya keunikan sendiri, lalu performanya untuk menyegarkan dan meningkatkan vitalitas kulit memang terbukti. Sayang untuk kulit yang sangat kering seperti kondisi kulit aku sekarang, kelembapan yang diberikannya terasa kurang untuk seharian jika tidak dipakai satu rangkaian lengkap.

Aku merekomendasikan rangkaian SNP Prep Vitaronic ini untuk kamu yang punya wajah kusam dan kelihatannya lelah gitu. Perpaduan vitamin C dan Hyaluronic Acidnya oke banget untuk menyegarkan kulit sekaligus memperbaiki teksturnya perlahan.
